For JTTP 2014, the 15th edition of the project, a new project component was launched to spotlight these young and/or emerging composers and sound artists and their achievements on the international stage. Thanks to annual collaborations with a growing list of illustrious Partners, JTTP winners are invited to present their work in concerts and festivals across Canada and abroad:

Further, Montréal’s AKOUSMA is a JTTP Project Partner since 2014, presenting the 1st Prize winner each year in their international festival of immersive digital music.

These public presentations of JTTP works by our Project Partners are an excellent complement to the extensive prize packages offered to the winners, and help the CEC promote the work of young / emerging composers and sound artists living in or from Canada within various national and international contexts.
